Summer is FINALLY here! Who else is jumping with excitement?! We had a long winter in Jersey, so Sterling & I are stoked that the warm weather has arrived. I have been taking S on lots of outdoor adventures, but we both have allergies…which are the W O R S T! Sterling likes to wipe her runny nose everywhere, and anywhere if i don’t have a tissue for her. BARF! So, I started leaving a box of Scotties Facial Tissues in my car, and bringing a box outside with us. #momlife
We already had some Scotties Tissues in our house because I love the box designs! Most tissue boxes are ugly in my opinion, but Scotties offers simple and cute designs to fit into your decor. Checkout a home decor post I did here. Anyways, back to the runny nose crisis…I’m now THAT mom that carries around tissues, and i have no shame in my game! hah! (I’m not sure when I turned into my mom, but here i am) This summer just started, and I’ve already used my “car Scotties” for messy popsicle-hands, wiping off sandy toes,
and alllll the runny noses.
I am far from a “Pinterest mom”, but I found some fun arts & craft activities to do with empty tissue boxes! I love that we can recycle the boxes while creating something new! Checkout the board I made here. You can also use your empty Scotties boxes for storage! It might sound silly, but they make great boxes to hold toys like little cars or even crayons. Recycling is something we are really trying to work and improve on. 🙂 #MyScottiesStyle
Any fun summer plans? We will be heading to some fun waterparks, and Maine in the upcoming months!
